Update Reunion 2019 to now

The Brotherhood has always been more than just a building, and the 2019 reunion reinforced that those bonds have continued to this day.

Many years ago, Brother Matthew Schutz formed the Alumni Corporation, Alpha Delta Epsilon, Inc. and created a Building Trust to help fund repairs for the House. When the House was sold, the Alumni Corp. was left to try and figure out a path going forward.

Some people wanted to have a party, others wanted to rebuild a house. In the end, the Alumni Corp. found its path forward through the generosity of scholarships.

We are now, officially, the Alpha Delta Epsilon Charitable Foundation. The transition from the former Alumni Corp. to the Charitable Foundation, which is an actual 501(c)(3), has been going on in the background for the last two years. We will now be able to fund-raise, provide tax deductions for donations, and continue our work with scholarships, appropriate charitable causes, and of course, alumni events.

But this isn’t just about what a select few of us want for the future. We want the next iteration of Alpha Delta Epsilon to be what we all need it to be.
